Spooky Floating Candle Ceiling
Recreate the magical, floating candle display from the Great Hall of Hogwarts in your own dining room or hallway. Take empty cardboard toilet paper rolls, paint them clean white, and add hot glue drips down the sides to look like melting wax. Place a battery-operated LED tea light inside the top of each tube, and suspend them from the ceiling using thin, clear monofilament line.
When the room lights are turned off, the white tubes disappear into the darkness, leaving dozens of flickering, warm candle flames floating magically in mid-air. This is an absolute showstopper of a decoration that will leave both children and adults completely spellbound.
