8. Ghostly Floating Mirror Gallery
Create an optical illusion that will make your guests do a double-take. Source an assortment of vintage, ornate picture frames from thrift stores and spray paint them in matte black or distressed pewter. Hang them along a hallway wall, but instead of photos, back them with reflective, semi-transparent mirror film. Behind each mirror, place a faint, printed image of a Victorian spirit that only becomes visible when the light hits it at a certain angle. Hang several of these frames slightly askew, and drape them with fine white spiderwebs to give the impression of a haunted gallery where the portraits are alive.
