3. The Sunken Sunken-Shipwreck Hydro-Map Vault

3

Construct an underwater cartographic sanctuary by converting a flooded biome dome or a repurposed ocean monument into a submerged map vault. The Sunken Hydro-Map Vault isolates the player beneath waves of glass and prismarine, creating a serene, isolated ambiance ideal for quiet planning sessions. The primary map display is arranged in a spherical or semi-curved orientation using invisible item frames on custom armor-stand rigs, or a classic flat wall set within a frame of dark prismarine and sea pickles.

Flowing water currents wrap around the exterior walls of the pavilion, where fish, dolphins, and turtles swim past the glass windows while you inspect your mapped territories. To build this effectively, incorporate conduit lighting to give the room an continuous blue hue, and line the borders of your map with sea verdure, sea anemones (using corals), and polished diorite accents. The contrast between the vibrant colors of the rendered Overworld maps and the moody, aquatic ocean backdrop creates an unforgettable aesthetic.
