How to Make It
- Wet-on-Wet Sky Base: Cover canvas or heavy paper with water. Blend wet washes of indigo, violet, navy, and black, letting colors bleed naturally.
- Create Nebula Dust: Dab a damp sea sponge into magenta and sky blue paint, stippling cloudy nebula formations across the dark sky.
- Flick Star Fields: Dip a stiff toothbrush into diluted opaque white paint. Pull your thumb back across bristles to spray thousands of tiny white star dots across the canvas.
- Paint Constellations: Use a fine detail brush (#000) with bright white or gold paint to join select stars into astrological constellations.
- Add Moon Focus: Paint a glowing crescent moon or full moon with stippled silver texture in one upper corner.
