How to Make It
- Dampen Surface: Lightly mist your canvas or heavy paper with clean water using a spray bottle.
- Lay Down Sky Wash: Apply soft horizontal strokes of pale lavender, blush pink, and peach watercolor or fluid acrylics across the damp surface.
- Build Cloud Formations: Load a fluffy mop brush or large filbert brush with opaque white paint. Dab soft, rounded cloud tops across color transitions.
- Softly Blend Edges: Use a clean, damp mop brush to swirl and soften lower cloud edges into the sky background.
- Add Sunlit Highlights: Paint bright golden-yellow and warm peach edges along top cloud crests where sunlight hits.
