11. Aquatic Atlantis Glass Dome Shroomery
Take your farming operations deep underwater with a massive, sunken ocean dome farm. Surrounded by deep ocean waters, swimming tropical fish, and glowing sea pickles, the Atlantis Shroomery grows giant land mushrooms inside a pressurized, bone-dry glass biosphere. The surreal visual of giant vibrant red mushrooms thriving deep beneath the blue sea makes this one of the most eye-catching builds you can add to a survival server.
Operating an automated farm underwater presents unique challenges that lead to clever designs. The farm uses an upward-sweeping water elevator system inside its central glass column. When giant mushrooms are harvested via ceiling pistons, the dropped items are drawn into perimeter floor drains, shot through bubble columns around the outer edge of the dome, and delivered to a suspended floating control platform at the top of the ocean surface.
