4. The Gothic Dark Oak & Crimson Cathedral

For players who prefer dark, dramatic architectural styles, the Gothic Crimson Cathedral elevates giant mushroom farming into a grand, solemn spectacle. Utilizing polished deepslate, vaulting stone arches, and stained glass, this farm encloses giant crimson mushrooms within high-ceilinged gothic cloisters. The dark purple and black hues of the deepslate contrast sharply with the vibrant, pulsing red of the giant crimson fungus, making the mushrooms look like sacred, ancient artifacts held within a stone sanctuary.
Functionality meets grand design inside the cathedral’s nave. High above the altar, an array of redstone repeaters operates a sweeping harvesting blade mechanism made of slime blocks and observer units. When triggered, the mechanism sweeps horizontally through the upper arches, instantly shearing the giant mushroom caps. The falling items gather along the central aisle of the cathedral, sweeping down a water trench straight into a subterranean storage vault organized by sophisticated item sorters.
