6. Underground Geode Cavern Super-Farm

6

Transform a barren underground cave or cleared amethyst geode into a dazzling, subterranean mushroom sanctuary. By lining deep cavern walls with calcite, basalt, and smooth quartz, you create a glowing crystal-like environment where giant mushrooms sprout under the soft light of amethyst clusters and glow lichen. The contrast between raw stone textures and giant, soft fungal caps creates an mysterious, unexplored atmosphere right beneath your main base floor.

Because space underground can be tight, this design features an expandable vertical piston-piston array buried within the floor and ceiling matrix. Podzol blocks are placed on hydraulic piston lifts; once bone meal grows the mushroom, the entire floor lowers slightly, firing lateral piston walls that slice the stalk and cap simultaneously. The cavern remains clean, uncluttered, and perpetually glowing, providing a serene subterranean retreat that doubles as a massive resource generator.
