16. Mushroom Kingdom Mario-Inspired Arcade Build
Pay homage to gaming history with a playful, bright, retro-arcade style giant mushroom farm modeled after the iconic Mushroom Kingdom. Built using vibrant yellow wool, red concrete, smooth quartz, and custom pixel-art blocks, this farm shapes giant mushroom enclosures to look like classic question-mark blocks, pipe junctions, and castle towers straight out of classic platformer video games.
The mechanics are pure retro fun. The harvest trigger is designed as a physical “jump block”—a slime-block bounce pad that propels the player upward to hit a wooden button disguised as a question mark block. Triggering the block fires a fast-action piston array that pops the giant mushroom, dropping items down green concrete “pipes” into collection chests themed around iconic arcade treasure chests.
