How to Make It
Create a wide $10 \times 12$ footprint. The ground floor is an open, split-bay stable with cobblestone floors, spruce gates, and hay feeding troughs. Build an external or internal staircase leading to a cozy timber loft home under a high, vaulted gambrel roof (barn-style roof with two slopes on each side).
Tips and Variations
- Hang leads and horse armor on walls inside the stables using item frames.
- Use trapdoors as stall dividers to keep animal spaces organized yet detailed.
- Variation: Add an extended side lean-to shelter specifically for farm wagons or carriages.
